Maroon cloth boards with faded gilt titles.The spine is sun faded. The boards and spine are bumped and chipped.An association copy owned by Thomas Amory DeBlois. Inscribed to him by James F. Otis. Thomas Amory Deblois (1794-1867) was a graduate of Harvard College. He practiced law in Portland, and was the United States District Attorney for Maine, and represented Portland in the state legislature. James F. Otis was a journalist and colleague of Edgar Allan Poe.
